Lillian's Story

It's easy to get overwhelmed by the scale of world poverty. But at Hillsong Conference 2011, we got a breathtakingly personal reminder of the difference empowering just one child makes. Lillian Nakabiri sent a message from the heart all the way from Uganda to Australia, to thank her sponsor Rosemary for changing her world. Meet Lillian and you'll understand: poverty is not too big—we just need to think smaller.

Re: Lillian's Story

I never realised that sponsorship could have such an impact on a childs relationship with God. Very inspiring!

Re: Lillian's Story

What an amazing privilege it is to see and hear how God has worked in this woman's life and what a difference sponsorship makes. We have 2 sponsored children and I need to make sure we write to them more than we do. The letters we get from them are so encouraging. Thankyou for enabling us to love these children in the name of our great Lord Jesus.
