A day in my life

Dipu lives in Bangladesh. Every morning, he wakes early to wash under the stream of a hand-pump, collect straw for the family’s cow and eat a breakfast cooked over an open fire. The path to school takes him through open paddocks of tall grass and past a fresh pebbled stream, where he occasionally stops for a swim.

For Dipu, this is a typical day. For us, it’s anything but.
