Compassion’s holistic child development programs minister to the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional needs of individual children throughout all stages of development; from the womb to university. Our programs operate exclusively through local churches in developing countries.

Child Sponsorship ProgramCompassion’s Child Sponsorship Program aims to disciple, equip and enable children living in desperate poverty to develop into fulfilled and responsible adults through a one-to-one relationship with a sponsor who provides for their core needs – spiritually, economically, physically, socially and emotionally. more Child Survival ProgramCompassion’s Child Survival Program assists pregnant mothers and mothers and caregivers of at-risk babies and infants by providing medical assistance, pre- and post-natal care, nutritional supplements, parental education, literacy and numeracy skills, vocational training and spiritual nurturing. more |
Leadership Development ProgramCompassion’s Leadership Development Program identifies outstanding graduates of the Child Sponsorship Program and provides them with the opportunity to attend university and receive Christian leadership training, so they are equipped to serve and bring hope for the future to their impoverished communities and nations. more Complementary InterventionsCompassion’s Complementary Interventions provide essential activities which enhance, improve and complement our core programs, and which cannot be met by sponsorship funds alone, such as: access to clean water and proper sanitation, disaster relief, emergency medical care and more! more |
