Christmas appeal

This year, Australians are supporting more children than ever—around 100,000 in fact! And together we want to make Christmas extra special for each and every one of them, no matter where they live or what their circumstances are.

As we celebrate Christ’s birth together, please consider giving $30 or more to this year’s Christmas Appeal. Your gift will help ensure every Compassion assisted child receives a Christmas gift, such as clothes, household goods, food, or toys.

It doesn’t take much from us; but for these children, it means more than you can imagine!

“I haven’t been able to give a single present to my children in years. But this year, Isaias received a Christmas gift from Compassion. He tore the box and took out the train … he opened the mesh and took out the ball too, and immediately started running and playing with it!” — Mother of Isaias, a Compassion assisted child in Ecuador

$

Compassion is unable to send actual gifts to sponsored children for many reasons, including high postage costs, unreliable delivery and customs duties. Instead, Compassion staff purchase gifts for children from their own communities, which also supports local businesses.

We recommend $30, but you can give more. Christmas funds are pooled, so this will increase the value of every child’s gift and help support sponsors who are unable to give at this time. Gifts of less than $30 are gratefully received.

Thank you

Thank you for your feedback. One of our team will respond to you within 2 working days. Thank you for your patience and for partnering with Compassion to release children from poverty in Jesus name.
