Compassion Australia is an international Christian child development and child advocacy organisation which helps release children from extreme poverty in over 25 developing countries.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role will see you responsible for managing the day to day activities of Compassion’s in-house creative and production agency, overseeing, forecasting and managing work orders for graphic design and audio-visual production and services. You will also provide marketing services through the coordination and management of ministry campaigns and marketing strategies by prioritizing projects, and establishing campaign timelines.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of success in marketing, including design and/or print background. Your broad experience across graphic design, film/video, web and multimedia will be highly regarded.
We are looking for a creative talent who is strongly aligned to the values of this leading Christian organisation. You will possess excellent people skills, have the ability to effectively motivate and develop a great team, and have an excellent understanding of the print production process.

Supporter Relationship Specialist
WANTED: A great talker with a heart for children in poverty
If you love interacting with people on the phone, have a knack for explaining complex things with simplicity, are a committed Christian and are passionate about helping children in poverty, then Compassion Australia has the perfect job for you.
We are looking for a Supporter Relationships Specialist to join our busy customer service centre in a full-time capacity. Previous experience in a customer service related role or call centre is desired but not essential.
The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong desire to serve our supporters with excellence
- The ability to make quick, yet well considered decisions within guidelines of policies and procedures
- Proficiency in all MS Office 2003 applications
- The ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy in process type tasks

Marketing Workflow Coordinator

Compassion Australia is seeking applications to fill the vital role of Workflow Coordinator.
In response to God’s calling and in the power of the Holy Spirit, the Workflow Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day workflow activities of Compassion’s in-house marketing team.
Are you meticulous and detail oriented? Can you handle a huge number of tasks at one time? Do you have a passion to meet tight deadlines and enjoy creating schedules and timelines? Then this job is for you!
The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:
- High level experience managing workflow in a creative services environment – such as in an advertising, media production or a graphic design agency.
- Experience in print production and graphic design processes.
- A good understanding of video, audio and web/multi-media.
- Experience managing multiple job schedules and tasks via a workflow tracking system.
- Good project management and multi-tasking skills with a flair for systems and processes.
- An intrinsic desire to build quality relationships with clients and vendors/suppliers.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills – you love people!
- Strong computer skills including an in-depth understanding of all Microsoft Office programs as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Graphic Designer
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Compassion Australia is seeking applications to fill the vital role of Graphic Designer.
In response to God’s calling and in the power of the Holy Spirit, the Graphic Designer is responsible for providing high-quality design services in the creation of marketing resources for the broad Compassion Australia ministry, ensuring that the Compassion brand is effectively implemented in all work developed.
The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:
- Tertiary qualifications or above in graphic art/design
- Minimum 2 years experience in graphic design, developing direct mail pieces, brochures, newsletters, stationery etc.
- Demonstrable experience in print media and web design
- Ability to take ideas from concept through to finished, print-ready artwork
- Sound knowledge and practical application of design techniques in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)
- Ability to provide professional consultation to internal customers on the rationale behind design choices
- Ability to organise one’s personal workload to deliver quality design products on time
