Program Director

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Director is primarily responsible for overseeing and contributing to the ongoing development and monitoring of Compassion’s child development programs in Australia and the Pacific.

The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:

  • Experience in overseas aid and development
  • Senior leadership and management experience
  • Project design and management experience
  • Program writing, evaluating and reporting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultures with a high degree of cultural sensitivity
  • Planning and budgeting skills.
