Leadership Development Program
Educating, training and discipling servant leaders
Each year thousands of students graduate from Compassion’s Child Sponsorship Program with their lives vastly improved. Among them are a number of young leaders who aspire to continue their education and training in order to become agents of change for their communities and nations, yet they lack the resources. Compassion’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) identifies these outstanding students and provides them with an opportunity to attend university, receive Christian leadership training, and develop their intrinsic leadership skills. Each LDP student is selected according to strict criteria including proven academic achievement, Christian commitment, demonstrated leadership skills and a willingness to serve.
In addition to providing funds towards university tuition and other related expenses, such as books, room and board, the program also provides a rigorous curriculum of Christian leadership training and mentoring. Students graduate from this program ready to serve their communities and bring hope for the future to their nations.
You can choose to:
- Sponsor an LDP student (you will be the only person sponsoring the student) - A$400* per month - please contact us;
- Make a recurring donation - from A$50* per month; or
- Make a once-off donation*.
These recurring or once-off gifts, when pooled, enable even more students to have access to the program and attend the college or university of their dreams.
