Why did you process my direct debit/credit card contribution in March when you already knew you wouldn’t be able to send the money to India?

We are committed to speaking individually with every India supporter, but unfortunately that has taken some time. We’re sorry that we haven’t yet spoken to you until now. We made the decision to continue with your current standing arrangement—we didn’t want to change this until we spoke with you personally and discussed your choices for where you wanted to direct your support.

But you are more than welcome to specify how you would like to use the money you have given … do you have any particular thoughts about that?
