  • Bequests Officer

    Bequests Officer Two year contract, part-time, 3 days per week

    Bequests Officer

    Ideally based in Newcastle NSW, but open to applications from capital cities

    Part Time

    In response to God’s calling and in the power of the Holy Spirit the Bequests Officer works with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a bequests and workplace giving program for Compassion Australia. The successful candidate will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:
    • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies focused on external stakeholders
    • Exemplary interpersonal skills, including persuasive negotiating and public speaking abilities
    • Highly developed written communication skills in order to develop formal documentation
    • Understanding of global poverty and Christian mission
    • Experience in managing a bequests or similar program
    • Experience in developing a new initiative and managing until maturity
    • Experience in presenting to large gatherings of people
