    Compassion Australia is looking for a passionate Events Specialist to join its Marketing Team for a part-time (32 hours a week), for a 12-month contract position.
     
    The Event Specialist works with Marketing and Area Teams to coordinated and resource events in order to maximise the profile, influence and impact of Compassion.

    The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable and has: 

    • Marketing experience
    • Strong communication and negotiating skills
    • Ability to work well within teams
    • Exemplary time management skills
    • Exemplary administrative skills
    • Current Australian driver’s licence

    • Events/Project Coordinator experience
    • Strong communication and negotiating skills
    • Exemplary time management skills
    • Exemplary administrative skills
    • Current Australian driver’s licence
    • Knowledge of WHS, information security and other relevant regulations

    We are looking for a highly competent individual who would enjoy being part of a vibrant team, assisting with building and supporting relationships with advocates, donors and church leaders. 
     
    The Relationship Facilitator will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient administration of various activities designed to support the Area Manager and Relationship Managers in order to maximise Compassion Australia’s profile, influence and impact within the Area.
     
    The successful applicant will be an active Christian with a heart for the poor, who is humble and teachable, and has:

    • A proven track record of providing wide-ranging administrative support to a cross-functional team
    • Exemplary administrative skills, including outstanding attention to detail
    • Exemplary communication skills, including the ability to communicate via phone and email with advocates, donors, church leaders and people from diverse backgrounds
    • A willingness to assist in other organisational growth initiatives
