Right now, more than 290,000 children supported by Compassion are not sponsored.
Your gift this End of Financial Year will ensure unsponsored children can still see a brighter future.

On average, a child waits four months to be sponsored.
Meanwhile, our local church partners ensure all children receive the education, healthcare, nutritious food and encouragement they need not just to wonder if there is a brighter future—but to reach it. Every child also hears how their ultimate hope for the future is found in Jesus.
It’s thanks to the Unsponsored Children fund that every child, even if they’re not yet sponsored or their sponsor has cancelled, has a brighter future.
Hope sees a brighter future, has a way to get there, and possesses the courage to try
The future is bright for Tatu

In the misty, rural village of Munduk, Indonesia, most children grow up working in the fields—just like their parents and grandparents before them. They work hard growing fruits, vegetables and hydrangea flowers.
It’s rare for children in this village to receive higher levels of education, and Tatu’s older siblings didn't graduate past primary school. Instead, they followed the same path as so many before them: working as labourers to help their family get by. But for four-year-old Tatu, the future looks different.
Although he doesn’t have a sponsor yet, Tatu is receiving food, medical care and access to education thanks to the Unsponsored Children fund. His local Compassion centre ensures he is supported just like his sponsored friends.
“I hope Tatu can get what his siblings could not have,” says Wayan, his mother.
By donating to the Unsponsored Children fund, you can help give local churches the resources they need to provide education, healthcare and hope to every child in their care. Tatu’s mother dreams of a future where her son can break free from poverty, and thanks to the Unsponsored Children fund, she knows it is possible. Although he’s only four-years-old—a bright future is within reach for Tatu.
