Thanks to your ongoing sponsorship contributions, your sponsored child is receiving assistance with their education that is tailored to their situation and individual hopes for their future.

Our holistic approach to child development helps break down barriers that prevent children from receiving education and vocational training. Depending on your sponsored child’s context, their education tuition costs may be funded by their family, the government, local community or sometimes Compassion. Our local staff are best placed to understand your sponsored child’s unique needs and access to local resources, and they will be working closely with the child and their family to help them achieve their goals.

You can choose to give a financial gift to your sponsored child or their family, and they will receive 100 per cent of your gift. With the support of local workers, your sponsored child and their family will purchase a gift that assists with their greatest need at the time. Even if this gift doesn’t directly cover education and training costs, it will be helping to remove other more urgent barriers to your sponsored child continuing their education.

If you haven’t already, we encourage you to write your sponsored child a letter and ask about their studies and their plans for their future. This will help you to better understand their situation and how you can pray and encourage them.
