We are greatly encouraged by the willingness so many of our supporters express to help at our child development centres. Unfortunately, Compassion does not place volunteers in our centres overseas.

Our programs are administered and run by local churches. As a result, the workers and volunteers are recruited from within the local Christian community. This enables the church to build up their relationships with the children, their families and the wider communities. Local staff are ideal because they speak the language and share the culture of the community.
