Through the generosity of your regular sponsorship contributions, your sponsored child is receiving tailored holistic care including nutritious food, access to clean water, quality health care and emotional support, spiritual guidance through the local church alongside education and skills-based training.

In addition to sponsorship contributions, our national offices work with our local church partners to use local resources and other opportunities as much as possible to help children access education. The availability of local resources varies from one community to the next, and every child’s situation is different. Our Education and Training Fund, which is part of Critical Needs, can help to cover some of the shortfall where appropriate and possible.

The Education and Training fund provides additional tailored support in covering the costs of education fees, exam preparation, diploma programs, education equipment and tools, transportation, housing or food costs relevant and necessary for a youth’s educational program, as well as access to vocational and technical training programs, retreats, internships, job search training, sports camps, apprenticeships and skills development labs. We recognise that education is an important part of helping break the cycle of poverty and has lasting benefits for children’s development and future potential.
