In most cases, if you have given at least $2 to Compassion in the last financial year, you will receive your annual tax receipt automatically. This will be available from late July through My Account (follow these steps), or, if requested, as a hard copy in the mail.

If you have given less than $1, you will still receive a receipt through your My Account, but please note that the Australian Tax Office only allows you to claim for donations of $2 or more.

If we are unable to identify your giving, we will be unable to send you a tax receipt. This would include if you requested your donation to be anonymous, did not supply your details, or gave through a third-party platform (such as Workplace Giving, a Facebook Giving or Raisely).

When supporting Compassion through your church, or when sending in a cheque or direct deposit, please be sure to provide your supporter number at the time in order to ensure the donation is allocated to your account and you receive a receipt.
