In the Great Commandment, Jesus instructs His followers to love God with all their heart, soul and strength as well as to love their neighbour as they would themselves. Jesus’ definition of neighbour extends to anyone in our path that we can know, love and serve. This includes the vulnerable, hurting and marginalised in our communities and in our world. As followers of Jesus, we have a responsibility to love our neighbours as Jesus teaches us. Through this episode, we explore what the Bible says about poverty and how we can be a good and loving neighbour to vulnerable children living in poverty around the world.
