I didn’t send Christmas gift money for my sponsored child. Why did I receive a letter thanking me for a Christmas gift?
All donations into the Christmas Fund are pooled so that no child misses out on a gift. Children are asked to let their sponsor know what they received for Christmas, and some children may assume that their own sponsor paid for their own gift, so will want to thank you in a letter.
