Why does my Christmas Fund donation occur in October?
Because distributing Christmas letters and gifts to more than 2 million children is a huge task, we send the Christmas Fund contributions in October to ensure that sponsored children can receives gifts in time for Christmas.
Your donation to the Christmas Fund is pooled with the contributions of other Compassion sponsors around the world and distributed to each child development centre where local staff purchase age-appropriate gifts for every Compassion assisted child.
